The Forms - 2007 Tour Dates (Cake Shop tonight)

DOWNLOAD: The Forms - Knowledge In Hand (MP3)

The FormsThe Forms celebrate the release of their self-titled, new record tonight (Oct 30) at Cake Shop in NYC.

With each admission paid ($10), you get a free album. Or maybe with each album you buy for $10, you get in free. However you want to look at it. Anyway, we're working on getting an open bar from 8:30-9:30 as well. The show goes from 8pm-10pm and our good friends (and one of our very favorite bands) Pattern Is Movement will be opening. Hope to see you there. [The Forms]

though admittedly kind of dragged to this show, i will say that both of these bands were actually quite solid...

they definitely were solid, but the sound and sight lines at the cake shop totally suck. forms were much better at the music hall of williamsburg. i'm boycotting cake shop from now on. it's just a crummy basement space with low ceilings and a sub-par sound system. even good bands sound like shite there.

Cake Shop and opening band sucked, but The Forms were fantastic. Their new record is really good.

nice work...keep boycotting the "crummy basement space with low ceilings and a sub-par sound system" and in 6 months it will magically transform into a giant luxury condo!

how "indie" of you!
