The irving show was great. Bullhead, lysol, egg nog songs. Sound was decent and there was lots of space for everyone.
Luna show sucked. Exactly the same set. Retards in the pit. Club was packed and you couldn't get a beer without feeling like standing in line at a high school keg party. Club wouldn't let anyone outside. Why? This place is zoned in a commercial area. Way too hot inside. Not going back to Luna unless there is a secret Pink Floyd reunion show there.

yes.. retards in the pit but bar situation was worse. literally 10 minutes before you got a drink. and many sweaty armpits to endure.

after some time you could go out & smoke and that's when i opted to leave.

As for moshing, they are not exactly a "mosh pit band". I have no issue mixing it up in the pit but that's not the Melvins. Same type of people who mosh to Tool or Pearl Jam. Save that shit for Slayer.

Yo, don't make me feel bad about only seeing the Irving show. It was one of the best I've seen them do. But that's incremental since I've certainly never seen a bad Melvins gig. The sound by us, in front of Buzz 2/3rds back, certainly not under the balcony, was perfect.
