A melange of shoegaze, 80s college rock, and bit of math rock thrown in, I've been a fan of this Chicago outfit's album All That To The Wall for some time. Think Tokyo Police Club without the caffeine and the hand claps, and you'll have a good idea.
They played Pop Montreal and everyone who saw their set gave big plaudits. They deserve more ears, so give them a shot. I think you'll find they're one of those bands that sneak on you. Before you realize it, they've snuck into your iPod top 25.
The Narrator are playing quadruple duty in NYC this week, so the opportunity is there to hear them first hand. All tour dates below...
