VIDEOS: Kanye West on Saturday Night Live

If Kanye's music doesn't do it for you, there's always his ego to keep you entertained....

I hope Donald Fagen and Walter Becker are getting fatty royal checks and points on this Conye west song. His flow on this album reminds me of Diddy circa 97.

personally, kayne may have a big ego, but he's worth it. i think he has more talent than most hip/hop artists out there now.

Ole' Fagen can't ever seem to catch a break.

Kanye West has talent? Man... I just don't get it. To me, that is not talent.

Video 1 = longest (only?) freestyle rhyme in SNL history

No, I've never been a fan of Mr. West, but mostly b/c I don't follow rap in general, nor hype in particular. However, I love SNL (through the good times and the bad) and watched some of his most and all of his second performance. I think he displayed courage and creativity to freestyle live and although yes, his ego appeared inflated beyond healthy limits, I always prefer self-love to loathing.

sweet - Steely Dan and Daft Punk... "new ways to enjoy my classic collection"

I'm onboard with the P Diddy comment, circa playing with Jimmy Page channeling "Cashmire".

he's a great role model. Like athletes, something the kids can aspire to.
Toneless shouting that promotes commercialism and vanity... go USA!
I can't believe that passes for musical talent these days. Kanye West's cameo with The Police was embarrasing to watch. There are kids on my block with more talent than this hack. Anyone who buys his record is dumb as dirt.
