about Hot Tub @ Pianos tonight:

"This upcoming show will feature two very exciting things. 1. Kristen is coming back from LA to do the show! a Special Trip! She's flying in on a private jet that she time shares with bonjovi.com (the website, not the band.) It will be a very fun night filled with love not only for each other and the world but also sepcifically for you (if you win the "we will lvoe you during the show" door prize) and 2. The show is part of a special CMJ showcase. Which I honestly don't know what that means. But it's gonna be exciting! And because of it, 3/4's of our show is music acts that are also comedy acts. The only thing I know about CMJ shows is what I was told by the sound guy at Piano's when he pulled me aside and whispered in my ear, "The CMJ shows are filled with assholes." So come out and fill it with love-holes instead. See you there."

Corn Mo (.357 Lover) will trombone-itize you with an accordian. cornmo.com/
Cracked Out (UCB, MTV) will break your mind like an omlette egg. myspace.com/crackedout
John Oliver (The Daily Show) will be the only person who will not sing for you. John Oliver
Reggie Watts (Andy Kaufman Winner) will enter words into a machine and make music. reggiewatts.com

Dear 6:00,

What an ingenious comment! That shows that not ONLY do you dig the music for what it is, but that you also hope that the band makes enough money to put forth further efforts.

If you had any real interests, you wouldn't have to spend any time worrying about how bands {that you evidently don't give a shit about anyway) were doing with their music.

A single commercial was able to end your fandom? Rock 'n' roll can only get better with people like you out there, I figure.

Hey I was trying to figure out if you can get into these CMJ shows without a badge. Can you get into shows if not a lot of people are there...or are they strictly with a badge?

Has anyone seen Gina Gershon yet?

Posted by gopster | October 15, 2007 7:36 PM

yeah. i saw gina gershon one time at the l.a.x. airport wearing a bandana and sunglasses. her big lips still gave her away though.

Posted by Anonymous | October 15, 2007 7:50 PM

I would like to see Gina Gershon naked even though she is 60

From the blurn about the John Meyer secret show:
"JOHN MAYER surprised a mostly unsuspecting crowd at Mercury Lounge on Saturday night with a completely unannounced secret show. He took the stage just around 1:30am to a few stragglers from the show earlier that night and a few close friends."

Funny none of the people who were at the show bothered to call their friends or others to rush down so they could catch some of this. I wonder why??? This has to be one of the most underwhelming of secret shows ever. I bet it had walkouts from the few stragglers still at the club. This guy blows.
