Yo La TengoFour of the eight Yo La Tengo Hanukkah shows are now sold out. Tickets are also on sale for a November 16th Yo La Tengo show at the Music Hall of Williamsburg (which some people remember going on sale and then disappearing from Ticketmaster a week or two ago - it was because they accidentaly announced it before their Long Island benefit show was sold out). I didn't go to that, but I did see them in Austin this summer.

Tickets for those nights are also sold out at Other Music. Amazing opener on Thursday! I have tickets for other three nights, but not that show.

I just bought a Music Hall ticket this moment at ticketmaster, so that's not sold out yet.
Also grabbed a December 6 ticket yesterday at ticketweb and that sold out later in the day. I'm guessing the Maxwell's shows will all be sold out pretty soon.

where are the openers listed?

The openers are not listed. The opening band for Thursday announced their slot on their website. I am going to be greedy and not say who it is until I have a chance to go to Tunes today and see if they have an extra. Other Music has none.

I'm gonna spoil 10:51's fun -- after a few minutes of sleuthing I found out the thursday opener is the dBs

That was a good thought 11:53 -- but they are apparently on the West Coast that week... anyone else know any REAL openers?

The LI show was AMAZING. I've seen YLT about 20-30 times, and that show was easily in the top 3. The Alexandria show last Tues was good, but nothing like the LI show. If you go to the Williamsburg show, hope that the crowd is good.
Oh, any news of Hannukah show openers would be greatly appreciated.

any word on the other openers for the shows at maxwells? I got tickets to a few nights and am basing alot of it on who is going to be playing with them.

YLT have stated that they want the openers to be a surprise. They are not saying who the openers are, but of course the openers themselves can say something.

Versus are opening on the first night. The dBs are on Thursday.

Really fun show last night, imo. The acoustics of the Hall were great, even in the back right corner. Ira sticking to acoustic the whole show really let his guitar playing shine.

Wondering if anyone kept a complete setlist. My is spotty at best.
