@ anon 2:12: we really don't care.

Kinda wish I was gonna be in town for this. Can't wait to hear the new material they've been cooking up in CT.

They terribly bored me at the bowery....i am just not into bands that feel the need to dress from the era that their music attempts to sound like.

Posted by Anonymous | November 7, 2007 3:30 PM

like the clothes or not, this band rocks hard. gonna be around for a while for sure.

Posted by Anonymous | November 7, 2007 3:47 PM

so you went to hear a band live and were turned off by their clothes? did you mistake the concert for a fashion show?

Posted by Anonymous | November 7, 2007 4:28 PM

The Bowery show was intense. I dont think you were at the same show. Probably the best show I have seen there all year and I have been to about 20 shows there this year. and it seemed like the other 600 people there were losing their minds too.

i had to sell my bowery tickets, but caught them at snitch (tiny motha fuckin stage) early 07. won me over from the first slam on the drummers tom tom.

sexy sexy band...

I've seen the singer walking around whole foods numerous times and he dresses the same as he does on stage, so i dont think its an act, but more of just their style, and they wear it well.

And the music is raw and hard and passionate and they are everything a band should be. check your man vaginas at the door.

Yeah, I've known Matt and Kamara for a long time and they have always dressed like that. It's not a stage thing, it's actually %100 who they are. Go see this band...

I saw Earl Greyhound at Irving Plaza last month when they played with The Noisettes. They are a stadium rock band in the making, and seeing them in a small venue like mercury lounge will probably be really special. Up against the other shows going on on New Years Eve, this seems like the best chance of having a really great night.

i saw them briefly at sasquatch this year - quite rocking, quality stuff. and that kick drum is a force to be reckoned with.

no kidding. that thing is massive.
great band for real. i'll be there.
