Talking to The Sun, vocalist Jonsi Birgisson said: "I think it's cool what Radiohead did. It's a good idea that makes so much sense. Bands get so little money from every CD they sell anyway. Doing it like this, if they only get a few pounds, they might actually get more than before."Hvarf-Heim is a new Sigur Rós double-CD compilation album, and it's out now. Get it at Insound. Stream it at AOL.However, Birgisson did go on to add, "It's hard for young bands starting off. Radiohead have a name. They can do whatever they want. People are waiting for their album and they like their music so they would happily make a donation." [Angry Ape]

I meant the music, not the DVD.

It's a good compilation of rarities, but it is for the fans. Since I enjoy them, I enjoyed the cd, but I would have prefered a new studio album.

Unlike everyone else, I wasn't blown away by the movie. The new song was merely OK, but then again, their music gets better with repeated listens. Streaming the album now...

It is B sides and alternative versions of old songs. I've had it on repeat since last week and I do really love it. Cannot wait to pair the music to the images.
