Japanther

Williamsburg's favorite noise-rock band Japanther (Ian Vanek and Matt Reily) unveils a new comedic rock-opera of unpredictable scale, repercussions, and decibel levels. Using a high-energy multi-media format - their "tool kit" integrates live music, dance, an interactive set, video projections plus an animatronic robot dinosaur - the band and their collaborators create a full-immersion theatrical concert experience that sports a a sharp political edge and an equally edgy heart. [PS122]
The show runs at PS122 from November 15-19 (Thursday at 9 and 11, Friday & Saturday at 11, Sunday & Monday at 9). Regular tickets are $20. Students & seniors (seniors?!) can go for $15, and you can go for $10 if you use the code "HUFFY" when checking out. All Japanther tour dates, below...

So true, they looks the same as their music is!

I've never understood this kind of music. There is absolutely nothing in it except gore and violence.
