how the fuck could you not include the monks? the entire band was enlisted and joined together while gi's stationed in germany. good christ, if you're living in brooklyn, you should know who the monks are. c'mon, how did you get an apartment in new york city without knowing anything about 60's garage/punk/rock? isn't that against the rules? come on, don't just wear the hip clothes, back it up. and if you're going to include staff sgt. barry sadler on the list of musicians, then how about the entire marine band? or that of the army, navy, and air force. i'm pretty sure they're enlisted. barry sadler may have been a true nutjob and kind of a badass, but he was not a musician. not in the same way that anyone else on that list is/was. at all. no. also, to put a photo of the "lead vocalist" of tool within 3 miles of photos of presley, cash, kristofferson, or even barry sadler is a fucking sacrilege. i should be doing your job. you should be working on a paper for comp 101. you. dick.

Both Ian Astbury of The Cult and James Blunt were in the British Army, but Astbury's career lasted only for approximately a month.
