You can buy tickets for the Rriiccee show at the Green Room on December 7th. Rriiccee's four members (pictured above) are Vincent Gallo, Rebecca Casabian, Nikolas Haas, and Eric Erlandson from Hole.

Speaking of Hole, have you been keeping with Courtney Love's blog? If not, you're missing out on stuff like,

its not dexactly cake to get tebh fbi to help u despite heaps and masses of documents they had the nerve to leave behind the ftc helping you is bogus too, they dont do JACK whats your best suggestion for clearing up old id theft but MASSIVE old id theft open corps you knew nothing about bogus tax stuff...[Courtney]
Look what's out now on DVD:

Nirvana Unplugged

Mixed in surround sound by legendary surround mixing engineer Elliot Scheiner, this DVD allows fans to experience this performance like never before, completely unedited including the two songs not originally broadcasted ("Something In The Way" and "Oh Me" ), and with the best sound ever available (to anyone not in the studio for the original taping.) For the purists, also included on this DVD is the original 44 min broadcast version of the show, plus never-before-seen REHEARSAL performances. As an extra bonus to the DVD, a 14-minute interview segment called Bare Witness produced by MTV focuses on the recollections of those who experienced this magical moment in music history, those who produced it and interviews with the band from the day of the taping.
It seems to be selling well for a music DVD, but still not nearly as popular as Planet Earth.

Kurt Cobain was funny. Foo Fighters are playing some shows.

just picked up my RRIICCEE tickets. I don't know much about Vincent Gallo... but I'm hoping for some RRIICCEE youtube videos from the first few shows. Glad to see more improvisational bands come up.

I just bought my RRIICCEE tickets for Chicago. Now I can say I've seen 1/2 of Hole and Vincent Gallo... who I kinda love/hate.

Should be interesting to say the least....

Vincent Gallo is a nobody with exception to making a name for himself by being a douche-y, self-absorbed racist. F- Vincent Gallo.

Taco Time hasn't jumped the shark until we have sex with him.

Vincent Gallo's racism, anti-semitism, sexism, elitism, arrogrance, Republican views, and prostitution are all just an act, or should I say art.

Posted by Anonymous | November 27, 2007 9:19 AM

Courtney Love's blog is art.

Posted by Anonymous | November 27, 2007 9:24 AM

Acting like an asshole is ART, DAMMIT! So is getting a blowjob from that Chloe Sevigny chick. ART, motherfuckers - CAPICHE?

RRIICCEE were absolutely godawful.
I knew nothing of Vincent Gallo before this (except that lots of people hatedhim) and went specifically because I am a lover and supporter of improvisational music.

What an absolute disaster. These were long, drawn-out, excruciatingly boring post-rock improvisations. It seemed like one lame "intro" track after another, no one seemed to enjoy it. Not the band, not the crowd, no one.

Complete and utter waste of time and money, and such pretentiousness from every angle. I left after 45 minutes because I just couldn't take their boring crap anymore.

Best way to describe the music: imagine if Sigur Ros had a lobotomy, ridding them of any sort of style, emotion, or direction in their music. (Not an insult to Sigur Ros, I think they're awesome) But this lame post-rocky shit has got to stop. PROGRESS DAMN YOU!

As I was leaving I caught a glimpse of the merch table:

This show should have cost no more than $7 for what it was. Now I can join the chorus of people everywhere and say "Fuck you Vincent Gallo".
