I saw them in Philly last month and am going back tonight. If you ever cared about this band in any way, you should check them out. They really did a great job.

at the colo they went on at 8:20 i am a long time fan and wouldn't miss this show, but i have to say, i wouldn't pay $50 to see them again. the colo show was sloppy, roth can hardly get around, and the bcaking vocals. are pre recorded. plus, ofcourse eddie has to kiss his son and roth both in the opening song to set the record straight that everyrthing is hunky dory. BS.
i have to say, eddie's playing was the great. wofie was good too. alex looks like he is about to die. overall, glad i went, but wouldn't waste the $$ again.

"don't understand you hipsters who like crappy old music"
I'm not much of a Van Halen fan but a lot of hipsters like some pretty crapy music - like a majority of the indie rock these days. Old bands like VH still have a following because of the sad state of music today. Fans and critics foam at the mouth over mediocre music that sounds like watered down versions of older bands. What happened to sounding original or writing great songs?

show absolutely kicked ass last night. sure diamond dave forgot a couple of words to a few songs and missed a few cues but the overall energy and sound was fantastic. eddie is truly a guitar god.
