The Verve were/are a great band with true English working-class roots. They have an amazing story of great hope and promise mixed with tragedy and bad luck and all the while, they wrote heartfelt music. Just listen to "History", that track says it all. I don't know of one American band that can rock like them. Everytime they perform a song live, it sounds like a new version. McCabe is a very creative guitarist.

Cant wait to see them again. It's been almost a decade since those amazing Hammerstein Ballroom shows, which still rank amongst the best shows I have ever seen.

dude, the hammerstein shows were without mccabe...the irving plaza show before that one was AMAZING.

i absolutely adored this band growing up. i bet if they come here, itll be playing something massive...i doubt ill go if thats the case.

Not to be confused with The Verve Pipe ("Freshmen").

I doubt they'll play anywhere over hammerstein capacity..Ashcroft played Webster Hall last year and it wasn't sold out till the day of the show..Such a great show that was!

Figure there will be no proper tour of the States till a record deal is in place..If they play Coachella this year, they may hit up NYC as well similar to the Jesus and Mary Chain last year..
