I was at the Tuesday show; it was my first time seeing him. I'll admit that I wasn't laughing very hard throughout, but I was smiling. He is incredibly articulate and charming. And this was a TWO HOUR SHOW. If I use the word "delightful," how many scene points will I lose?

i thought he was pretty damn amazing. it's like listening to mark twain.

i just checked youtube clips...can someone post a link where he is funny? thx

I've seen him quite a few times and think he's brilliant. He tells really well crafted stories (which is probably why the youtube clips fall flat)and has razor sharp crowd interaction. I'll definitely be at the show tonight.

all the youtube clips are years old

I guess Mr. Kitson is hanging out in NYC for a while. He's performing this coming Saturday night too.

hes over hyped. if he didn't have an english accent he would be a zero. i saw him on tues and the place was full of people not laughing much. a few people laughing occasionally because they were concerned that everyone else understood the british joke but them, so they released prophylactic laughter like sad fuck puppets.

dries, I think it's possible that you are wrong. I'm almost sure of it.

I was at every UH show. Sunday was great for the audience as was Wednesday (he was testing out material so didn't seem too concerned about getting laughs versus NOT getting them). All four nights were packed. He's very unique, charming, and quite the storyteller.

*aw*
I think the usage of the word " delightful" will take 3 scene points from you. On the upside, you will be credited 3 sen-ior points.

If he wasn't British I suspect your hatred of him would be a little less vehement. You sound more misanthropic than he does. He's not great, but it was thought provoking, touching and often very funny. And it only cost $8. Hardly worth having a tantrum about.

What on earth does "prophylactic laughter" even mean? Tard.
