"Few leads in killings of Mexican singers"

Hijacked by armed men after leaving the stadium early Sunday in Morelia, the capital of Mexico's violence-plagued Michoacan state, Sergio Gomez was tortured — his genitals burned and his body badly beaten — and then strangled, investigators said. His body was found Monday...............Authorities also appear to have no new leads, and have made no arrests, in the Saturday slaying of singer Zayda Peña in the border city of Matamoros, across the Rio Grande from Brownsville.

The style of Peña's death also screams gangland — an assassin shot her dead in a hospital after she was shot and wounded Friday night. But investigators have said the crime also could be one of passion, perhaps involving an affair with a female friend...........More than a dozen Mexican singers and musicians, most of whom perform variations of the polka-style music popular in northern and western Mexico, have been slain execution-style in the last two years. this is quite sickening. it's always disheartening when examples such as this drub in that justice does not exist in the world.

I think that the person who killed him will pay pretty soon and he is not going to die by the hand of men but by the hand of god. All of sergios fans pray for him to rest in peace, and that the guys that did this to such a nice guy will pay sooner or later. I wish that they rhout in hell and that they fell sorry after they are in pain and suffering. SERGIO GOD will take care of this and of you family and friend and your fans . REST IN PEACE SERGIO GOMEZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

sergio gomez will live in our hearts forever. I truely hope officials find the killers responsible for his death, i thought i'd never say this but i hope those killers pay with blood for what they've done.
