Foals

I walked away from CMJ this year really excited about a few bands. One of them was Santogold, and another was the high-energy UK band Foals. Their live show was tight, so I'm not surprised to see that their next NYC show is a headlining one at Bowery Ballroom on Feb 11, 2008. Tickets go on sale Friday.

TV On the Radio's David Sitek produced their new single "Balloons". The video, and all known tour dates, below...

definitely the best set of the few i saw. amazing stage presence, involved yet danceable songs.

why would the bowery show be cancelled?

very nice. these guys definitely pick up somewhere around where bloc party fell off.

you do have to wonder if they do all their shopping together. "dude, contempo is having a sale on short-sleeve dress shirts, black belts, and skinny jeans!" "bloody hell, dude, let's go!"

i don't see any tickets on sale. do you?

no tickets. what's up?

I think think they're figuring out now if this show is still going to happen.

These guys are definitely better than Bloc Party, no doubt.

more attention should be given to the criminally underexposed. "13 BILLYS" remix of Hummer. it's on par with the Surkin effort, if not better....
