GZA performed 'Liquid Swords' (sorta) @ Knitting Factory

GZA @ Knitting Factory

GZA finished strong as Killah Priest did Liquid’s spiritual anthem “B.I.B.L.E.” and GZA did the crowd favorite “I Gotcha Back.” Some classic moments with legendary material definitely took place though and GZA showcased real upper echelon rhyme skills. He may have benefited had he actually performed Liquid Swords in its entirety but the tribute to his best work and arguably the Wu’s strongest solo platter came off dope nonetheless. The cult of Liquid Swords wouldn’t have it any other way. [AllHipHop]

Please. It's hard enough just getting a rapper to do ONE SONG in it's entirety. A whole album? Please!

Anyone wanna talk about the incredible Reigning Sound show at Southpaw on Sat. night? I expected the parade of golden-oldie guests to be awful, but even they were great. (Except for a certain Alphabet City bar owner in an Adidas track suit. Embarassing.) Thanks, Norton.

No, to answer your question. No one wants to talk about that.

show was good, not great. his entourage on stage was huge and GZA performed a great tribute to ODB.

crowd was weak and incredibly stoned. only on stage for an hour though

GZA ran through all of Liquid Swords and in order at Pitchfork. Granted he only spit his verses, but we at least got Liquid Swords in it's entirety.

I used to play liquid swords with my brother in the bathroom. It was awesome!
