Best Music TrendMore of Busy P's picks @ XLR8R where they also happened to declare Justice's † one of the worst albums of 2007. Was the recent Jusice DJ set at Bowery Ballroom any good? Decide for yourself. FADER has it (or some of it?) for download at their site.

ok so hopefully this will be the last time Daft Punk and Justice will be mentioned in BV this year! I mean Justice will be forgotten in a year or two for sure....Daft Punk..when they tour again in like couple of years, people will be saying hey what time are they going on? Classic.
Listen to.....

Nu Rave? that's terrible... the trend is over... Ed Banger is going back to flipping burgers... Daft Punk will be selling used Saabs to middle-income New Englanders...

after seeing them at terminal5 and getting my mind blown i cannot wait for them to come back
Posted by Anonymous | December 17, 2007 10:33 PM
You don't hear anyone asking what time Justice goes on for a reason.
Posted by Anonymous | December 17, 2007 10:55 PM
Justice and Daft Punk both suck in my opinion. Seriously, I guess I just don't get them.
Posted by Anonymous | December 17, 2007 11:15 PM
what time does justice go on?
Posted by Anonymous | December 17, 2007 11:20 PM
You DONT get them obviously. Justice and Daft Punk rock.
And so does minimal.

justice album is the shit. if you dont like it i can respect your opinion but i dont see how it could actually be seen as one of the worst albums of the year

Minimal? Does he mean Spoon?
Posted by Anonymous | December 18, 2007 3:59 AM
damn that headline got my hopes up.

jesus. can passions crave more attention, i'm sorry but you've released 2 or 3 obscure singles and you know they're going on your lp which might be half as good as †.
Welcome to obscurity, I hope your cred pays your rent.

Actually, XLR8R did not call 'Cross' one of the worst albums of the year. Passions did (an artist on the Kitsune label).
Posted by jp | December 18, 2007 8:54 AM
why can't people accept that daft punk is good?! one of the best bands of their genre ever. there is no debate amongst people who actually listen to that type of music.
seriously. no debate.
if you don't like that type of music - keep your opinion to yourself.
seems like people only want BV to list / discuss things that THEY like...which, as proven by BV over the past several months...is not how it works here.
BV - good work, there are people who support you, no matter what type of music you want to talk about.

Hey, opinionated assholes. Listen to what you want. I love Justice, Ed Banger, and Daft Punk. If you don't, that's fine, but you don't have to be a dick about it. We get it, you think you know more about music than everyone else. Go back to smelling your own farts.

Passions is an idiot. He's complaint with the Justice album is that it's a collection of singles that he already heard. This reason is his own fault cause he chose to listen to all the leaked tracks before hand. By the time † came out 8 out of the 10 tracks were leaked. And what dance band is not singles based?
Posted by Matt | December 18, 2007 1:53 PM
man these Daft Punk/Ed Banger haters are really starting to get old. guess what, people like to dance, get over it.

any chance of the name of the song after minuit jacuzzi???

like ANY music, you can't enjoy it unless you know what the band is going for, Justice is almost silly disco/rock/rave. Daft punk at lolla was way repetitive Justice knows how to mix up their music so it is even better when you see it live. I was at the Myspace chicago show expecting to be disappointed but they rocked the shit like no other, and the crowd was moshing to it. It was the perfect blend of rock and dance music.
