DOWNLOAD: White Rabbits - The Plot (MP3)

White RabbitsTiny Vipers

New music dominated my 2007, I listened to more new releases than any other year in my life. With new CDs arriving daily, I struggled at times to keep up with the deluge, but was rewarded in the end with a wealth of quality music.

Looking back, I was surprised how many artists on this list have appeared on my previous year-end lists, but this is my sixth favorite albums list at Largehearted Boy.

See what came out this week.

just checked his tops list. this guy must be the biggest pussy. "my wife misplaced my Arcade Fire record" who the fuck is this person. good for his wife i hope she also divorces him and renders him incapable of blogging or whatever the hell people are calling it now. Josh Ritter? oh christ. too bad did john mayer not have a new release? people can have their opinions, but really i cant believe anyone would allow this eunuch an audience.

Agreed . . . it's like a "best of" hipster easy-listening list.

"people can have their opinions..."

my opinion is that david schwimmer - 10:48AM sounds like a bitter asshole

hahahaha . . . n8 = Nate

I get it! You're so fucking clever!

so angry, you must be a little man. I'd be angry to.

grrrrr f you internet blog poster. you have different taste in music then me and people actually listen to what you say so I hate you.

"people can have their opinions, but really i cant believe anyone would allow this eunuch an audience."

You need to be kicked in the eye.

Anonymous -11:09AM - Anonymous is very clever too - good for you - did you come up with that yourself?

These year-end lists just bring out the worst in people.

Delist the lists!

i am not bitter.
more offended so many people cease these platforms to tell the world their opinion and while yes i could just not pay attention i become thoroughly upset at those who continue litter the world with their mundane opinions. i mean this guy couldn't even put Beirut on his list. I guess that bohemian french music might be too abrasive. either way large heart or no heart this guy has bad taste and i wanted to make a point of it. also that was the first message board posting i have ever left anywhere and I am tall and well adjusted and dont really like charles bukowski, but kind of think he is funny

Posted by ross | December 5, 2007 11:44 AM

fair enough Ross, but are you not also "littering the world" with your "mundane opinions"? As soon as you decide to post, do you not open yourself up to your own critiqe of opinoins? Its a slippery slope , and fine if you don't like or agree with Largehearted boy's music taste, but "this guy must be the biggest pussy" is a bit much. Then again, so is "david schwimmer - 10:48AM sounds like a bitter asshole" so who am I to talk? drewo was right - these lists seem to bring out the worst in people, myself included

Fight the good fight, n8. Saw the 2 posts below on LHB's own blog-- I dont care who said it, if its a friend, if its him. Doesnt matter.

But it sums it up pretty well.

"Please notice that his list is his *favorite* albums of the year....I'm sure LOTS of people would find your favorites of the year beige and predictable, probably mine too but that's why they are called your *favorites*....."

"Beige and predictable? This isn't a top albums THAT NOBODY ELSE HAS HEARD OF list. If an album is good, a lot of people are going to know about it. End of year lists are generally going to be predictable, since we've been hearing about the listed albums ALL YEAR. Idiot."

I would have left off the "Idiot" part, but I guess we have to start somewhere :)

Hopefully some day we'll realize that you just have to accept some people's opinions (not agree/like, but ACCEPT) if we're going to have an interesting conversation about music.

Thats why I'm here, anyways (as misguided as that may feel at times).

hey i am the same person. it was a cheeky reference
there is a difference, a message board at least as i interpret it, is an open dialogue. largehearted boy is running a business via his blog - selling ads etc..yes my opinions are philosophically no different than "the pussies", but i am not self promoting. 9 people have read my "mundane opinion" whereas given the traffic of both his site and this site thousands will see this awful list. and by the way n8 fuck off. "these lists bring out the worst in people" ridiculous comment. Lists are amazing they can open you up to amazing music. it is the people who comprise the list. i can think band of horses are really boring and sound like current pearl jam records, but i could see that on a year end list and wouldnt hate, if it was spiced with better more interesting work

david schwimmer is a pussy.
so is chandler bing.
so is billy mitchell.
you know what? billy mitchell can kiss my ass. you aren't the king of kong. phoebe is.
fuck you billy mitchell. fuck you.
