some Led Zeppelin fans queued overnight or longer even though they have guaranteed tickets for the show tonight

Led Zeppelin

More than one million people applied in a lottery for one of the 20,000 seats. Tickets have been snapped up for over £1,000 on sites such as eBay - but buyers are warned they could be turned away.

First in line: David Beesmer, from New York, arrived three days earlyAll registered ticket holders have to pick up their tickets in person with photo ID and they are then given a sealed wristband that cannot be taken off until after the concert.

Although rumours are abuzz that Led Zeppelin may embark on a full reunion tour, the band have officially declared tonight is a one-off concert and have promised to sing their best known songs including "Stairway To Heaven" and "Whole Lotta Love".

The arena's corporate hospitality boxes will include Paul and Stella McCartney, Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell, Dave Grohl and Jeremy Clarkson. [Daily Mail]

Jeremy Clarkson at a Led Zep show? That doesn't sound right.

If you have reserved tickets whats the point of getting there THAT early?

Posted by Craig | December 10, 2007 10:58 AM

Why is all this happening? Is it for the money???

Posted by Anonymous | December 10, 2007 11:08 AM

it's not for the money. Led Zep are doing it out of the goodness of their hearts. They probably won't make any money anyway.

If a random guy on bv says Zep are going to tour, obviously they are going to tour.

Has anybody heard about any radio today or tonight on this? Either sirius or xm doing anything?

Posted by Anonymous | December 10, 2007 12:09 PM

Frx- sorry for the typo but you can take that comment and shove it straight up your ass

Anon 11:34am- Let's see what happens, fuckhead. I know it is very hard to believe that not every single person commenting on bv is just a loser wannabe hipster.

Hi!

In a time when people think that Bruce Springsteen is rock, it's very nice that the real stuff is back. Led Zeppelin is back on the Stairway To The Rock And Roll.

Yeah, you might even say they're riding the Black Dog all the way to Dyer Maker while waving Four Sticks around like A Fool in the Rain until The Levee Breaks!

Posted by Anonymous | December 10, 2007 12:58 PM

i wouldn't say that at all.

Hi again!

If you feel Dazed And Confused take it easy Your Time Is Gonna Come, and you can be sure that LZ is gonna give you Whole Lotta Love, beacuse they are always Friends with their fans. We can hope that they take the Starship and fly over The Ocean and Ramble On i NYC before they Going To California. But before that In The Evening at 10/12 we can close our eyes and think back to the Dancing Days and be sure that The Song Remains The Same and that's good.

Thank You
