new Destroyer album & MP3 (Trouble in Dreams)
DOWNLOAD: Destroyer - Foam Hands (MP3)

Dan Bejar and friends return on March 18th 2008 with their 8th studio album as Destroyer.Dan is a busy guy. He also has a Hello Blue Roses album coming out in January, and he appears on the new New Pornographers album that is out now (and that Dave Hill loves).Trouble in Dreams continues Bejar's lyrical and musical assault on all that is stagnant and stale in modern popular music. His is a body of work that consistently flouts convention in favor of musical leaps of faith, statements of purpose cloaked in subterfuge, and the joyous refrain of an optimist's heart cloaked in cynicism.
Anthems sprawl with shifting layers of guitar and piano, spinning just to the edge of chaos and back, while whispers in the corners reference fantasical realms and mysterious women who may or may not approve of our interloping voyeurism. It's all magical and terrifying and life-affirming. It is as it should be. It is Destroyer.

Didja ever notice that KISS has an album, but not a song, titled "Destroyer" and The Kinks have a song, but not an album, of the same title? So, does Destroyer have a self-titled album or namesake song?

Didja notice "Destroyer" is a type of ship used by the Navy? So, does Destroyer have a boat? Perhaps a rowboat or tugboat.
