When I look at this picture:

And think about how much MMJ rocks live..

Jesus.

This is going to be an excellent six months of anticipation.

I got two during the first presale, but reading the comments on the other post makes me think I got pretty lucky. Hope this works out better for everyone.

I'll be looking for some tickets tomorrow, wish me luck CTC

so glad i already have!

is it june yet?!

Posted by grace6697 | January 23, 2008 2:18 PM

so this was ridiculous. No tickets after five seconds into the presale? Guess I'll have to go to ebay then...

Posted by Anonymous | January 24, 2008 9:42 AM

Woo hoo! Got 2 tickets - 1st mezzanine, row E.

Posted by mp77 | January 24, 2008 9:43 AM

so both presales sold out in 1 min? damn.

Posted by Anonymous | January 24, 2008 9:44 AM

I'm surprised anyone manages to go to concerts anymore. Since they don't sell tickets to them.

Posted by Anonymous | January 24, 2008 9:45 AM

i could only get 2 tickets for third mezzanine..but i settled for 1 ticket 1st mezz row c. this sucks...

Posted by Anonymous | January 24, 2008 9:47 AM

I also got mezz. tickets, but isn't the presale supposed to offer good seats? Damn, now I have a conflict with the Cure presale and MMJ presale :(

Posted by Anonymous | January 24, 2008 9:47 AM

Keep trying- finally got thru - 2 tix in orch 1, row Q

Posted by EJ | January 24, 2008 9:52 AM

I got orchestra seats - Row M.

Posted by Robert | January 24, 2008 9:56 AM

i got 4 tix in first row of 2nd mezz but blew them off in hopes of better ones tomorrow.

I kept trying this morning to get tickets during the presale despite all signs pointing to the negative. Finally i got tickets, so i purchased them without paying attention to where they were located, figuring this is a presale so they cant be that bad.

My seats are third mezz row F....

Can someone PLEASE explain to me why the band releases the absolute back effing row seats in a presale???????????

this is a joke right?

I miss the days of when they played the Bowery and Irving... Was anyone at the Roseland show in November 2006? I wasn't too thrilled...

Posted by qweebaroo! | January 24, 2008 10:32 AM

I think it has nothing to do with the band, but mostly with the venue
as explained previously the MMJ management said they offered all 500 seats they got assigned during the first presale (which also sucked for most of us)
I just hope I cna get any tickets tomorrow! Will be tought with the Cure going on sale at the same time

Am I wrong to say that first mezzanine are the prime seats in radio city? I got row J...obviously front of first mezzanine would be better but I'm not complaining...it's sloped anyway. I had the worst seats at a show there and had an amazing experience, so I think a good time will be had by all!

"Am I wrong to say that first mezzanine are the prime seats in radio city?
Posted by Anonymous | January 24, 2008 10:58 AM

Yes you are wrong in saying that. In fact only an idiot would think something like that.

Posted by Anonymous | January 24, 2008 12:19 PM

Depending on what seats you got on the Mezz area, you may actually have a better view than on the orchestra section. I wouldn't sya he's an idiot for thinking that; it's all a matter of taste.
I personally have seen shows from both areas and I'd say if you don't have seats within the double lettered rows on the floor, then mezz. would do just fine.

"Depending on what seats you got on the Mezz area, you may actually have a better view than on the orchestra section."

I got some seats in row DD during first presale. Today I went and looked at the view on the RCMH site and there's a giant tree blocking the view... so you may be right.

Posted by CTC | January 24, 2008 3:10 PM

I doubt the tree is always there.

Posted by Anonymous | January 24, 2008 3:16 PM

Addendum: I'm way to the left.

Posted by CTC | January 24, 2008 3:17 PM

The sound is much better on the floor then in the mezz. You can see fine from down there and the entire stage. I have been to tons of shows over the years here and the floor is always better than the mezz

Posted by Anonymous | January 24, 2008 3:23 PM

CTC: that tree is only there for the Xmas shows. During regular time it is taken away. So your view will be probably great. Lucky you

Posted by Anonymous | January 24, 2008 3:23 PM

Sold out...

Posted by qweebaroo! | January 25, 2008 9:44 AM

during the second presale i got a single seat for 1st mezz 3rd row..and i just got better orch seats. anyone wanna buy my 1st mezz seat?

Posted by Anonymous | January 25, 2008 9:47 AM

I know they are awesome, but..MMJ sold out Radio City faster than Arcade Fire and Bjork?!?

Posted by Anonymous | January 25, 2008 10:34 AM

"I know they are awesome, but..MMJ sold out Radio City faster than Arcade Fire and Bjork?!?'

Without going into any comments about who is better, MMJ appeals to a much wider fanbase. They have the indie rock scene, plus they are pretty well established in the jam band scene. Those two scenes both attract a huge number of concert goers. Based off a phish message board, they probably could filled the place up with phish fans alone.

Posted by Anonymous | January 25, 2008 10:57 AM

damn i will have to ebay these tickets now...

Posted by Anonymous | January 25, 2008 11:06 AM

i managed to get 2 in row C but all the way house right seats 106 or so. my gf got seats in row V more centered (but under the 1st mezz) do you think its better to be closer up in row C but off center or way back and under the mezz but dead center?

Posted by Anonymous | January 25, 2008 11:25 AM

Good news: got 2 for Row A
Not so good news: that's Row A in the 3rd Mezz.

Oh well, I'm counting on MMJ to fill that big room with their big sound.

Posted by drewo | January 25, 2008 11:45 AM

There must be a God, because I missed the two pre-sales and signed on this a.m. right at 10... and got row XX right in the center. Not bad.

Sold out really fast.... wonder if that means they'll add a second date... although... that would be a total of more than 10,000 seats.. not sure they could sell all THAT out. Who knows.

Posted by Juan | January 25, 2008 2:30 PM

I was checking a listing on Ebay and somebody is selling tickets on the pit area, and it reads "this is for the early 5pm show"
Does that mean he f*cked up or there may be a second show?

Posted by Anonymous | January 25, 2008 3:24 PM

Tickets are back on sale. 3rd Mezz though.

My advice is to keep checking ticketmaster. I got a ticket for Bjork in section 4, row hh the day of the show. David Gilmour, same deal almost. Got section 4 row nn the day of the show. Radio City and MSG seem to always do that. I highly doubt any of you will need to use craigslist, stubhub, or eBay if you are patient and persistent

BAC ON SALE

Just got Orch 1, row yy
