2008’s first big music release week brings a wealth of music to recommend. Cat Power‘s second covers album, Jukebox hits the stores tomorrow, as does the latest Drive-By Truckers release (and their first without Jason Isbell), Brighter Than Creation’s Dark.

Super Furry Animals‘ Hey Venus! finally arrives in CD format after being availably digitally since August. If you love powerpop and haven’t already picked it up, it’s a must have.
