Patti Smith played 3 sold-out shows at Bowery Ballroom in NYC over the past few days. The final one was on New Years Eve show which happened earlier in the night than the Les Savy Fav show at the same venue. Joan Osborne showed up at at least one of the shows, and Alejandro Escovedo opened on New Years Eve.

"Patti Smith: Dream of Life" is a new documentary by Steven Sebring that will be playing at Sundance on January 20, 2008.

Patti has more charisma at 61 than most people could wish for in a lifetime...plus she's brilliant, more than I can say for most Philistines....uh, such as"Anonymous", who doesn't have the guts to even say his name (Fuckwad, perhaps?)....the show was awesome!
