Patton Oswalt hosting Plug Awards, St Vincent playing, vote
David Cross @ The Plug Awards, 2007 (CRED)

David Cross and Patton Oswalt must still agree on at least one thing: hosting the Plug Awards ceremony is OK. I say that because, David Cross hosted them last year, and Patton Oswalt will be hosting them this year. They take place at Terminal 5 in NYC on March 6th. St Vincent is playing, and so is Jose Gonzalez. More TBA.
VOTE for the winners while you still can.

it seriously was a bad show. It all looked good on paper but you can tell even David Cross didn't want to be there. It just wasn't going that well.

You complainers all fucking tapped in the head. The thing was 10 bucks, Cross seemed to be loving the absolute chaos that was happening amongst the organizers backstage, and you got to see El-P, Deerhoof, Tokyo Police Club, Stehen Malkmus, and the Silversun Pickups. Cross was on, the bands (besides El-P) brought it, and it was only 10 bucks. The princes and princesses that plague this site and the shows is appalling

An award show... Now THAT's the Indie spirit!

2 words: IPOD WARS.
This was the worst event I went to in 2007. The highlight was when El-P got pissed the indie rocker crowd wasn't "rais'n da rooff" enough and stormed off stage.
