So who will come to NYC first...Portishead or My Bloody Valentine?

Who are you more excited for?

Portishead should play at Beacon Theater/Town Hall/Bowery Ballroom (5 night stand!)

My Bloody Valentine should play at Irving Plaza (3 nights?)/one secret show at Mercury Lounge!

I'm just getting my hopes up for these venues but I sure hope whoever books the shows for them will do a nice job.....I wouldn't even mind seeing both at APW Festival

Any guesses???

my guess for Portishead:

either the Apollo or Radio City.

I'm betting Bowery will want them to play T5.

They're too big for T5

good call on portishead playing the apollo - that would be an ideal space for them.

when portishead toured for their last album 10+ years ago, they played the hammerstein. i'm thinking it'll be the same this time. what other venue has a comparable capacity (3000-ish)?

I really dont care where they play, so long as they come to NYC. I dont care if i get nose bleed tickets either. I need to see them. I have to see them, it's my lifes destiny pretty much. It's what I have to do in order to die happy. See Portishead live.

Although Hammerstien would be cool...MSG would be dope too.

What do ya'll think the music will sound like?
I think it'll be a bit more glitchy and electronic. but I don't know.
