"In Rainbows is teh sucks" you fail at humor.

Actually, In Rainbows FTW!

Thank God! I was praying for Radiohead's finances each and evey long sleepless night.

They're going to be OK! They're going to be OK!

But he's got a point - In Rainbows does suck, unfortunately.

What a shocker! People will pay for good music.

I bought it. Glad I waited. I came close a few times to doing the download, but both laziness and procrastination got the best of me. But I'm glad I waited it out. The CD is just better to have and own. Now I can upload to the iPod and have it on the go. But I've played the CD several times now, sitting down on the couch in front of the stereo with the volume up. Can't beat that as an experience (well, there's live).

The download of In Rainbows I got was all nu-metal and the artwork was just pictures of Joanna Angel's snizz. Anyone else have this problem?

why are you "glad you waited"? you could have downloaded for free, and still dought the CD if you wanted to. How is your life better or different for waiting?

"The CD is just better to have and own. Now I can upload to the iPod and have it on the go."

I got some news for ya, CD's are landfill. If you woould have downloaded it (for nothing I might add) you could have burned as many as you wanted. Welcome to 2008.

Oh and by the way, In Rainbows sucks. Glad I only paid 2 dollars for it.

Glenn,
You're an idiot.

Ron, what's the point of burning a CD from lossy audio files (except to play them on your non-mp3-capable car stereo)? If someone is going to go through the expense and trouble to buy a CD, I presume they want the better audio quality. (Or maybe the professionally produced physical package.)

I was just answering the statement;

"The CD is just better to have and own. Now I can upload to the iPod and have it on the go."

As far as "lossy audio files" go, I import my CD's at 192 kbps which is the same as CD quality. Data is data, be it sound or anything else. I forgot the what quality the Radiohead was set at but the quality is fine. Unless your Jamie Sommers or Superman I'm sure you'd have a hard time hearing a true difference. Let's get real. And like I said earlier, CD's and their packaging will end up as nothing but landfill in the long run.
