"Taken at Bayerischer Hof Hotel's SPA" (CRED)
Michael Stipe and friend

"R.E.M. is confirmed for this year’s SXSW, playing one of only a handful of American dates before its 14th album, “Accelerate,” arrives on April 1 and the band launches a larger tour later in the year. Word has it that, per the album title, the record will be a return to faster songs." [Austin 360]

Nice! Stipe's sporting the Vision Gator design!!!!!! I guess he supports the fact that Mark "Gator" Rogowski's career ended when he was convicted of assaulting, raping and murdering a young woman in 1991.

What's more annoying than t-shirt trainspotters accusing artists of supporting rapists? Nothing.

Maybe he's wearing the t-shirt because he, y'know, likes the design, not because he supports the ideology or actions of the person who came up with the image?

close to 90% of all t-shirt designers are rapists. FACT.

The SXSW festival this year has some great rock bands back in action. 2 great pop/rock bands with no strings attached, R.E.M. from Georgia plays that Thursday and The Paul Collins Beat from New York plays that Saturday.
