Tickets go on sale today at noon for a February 5th Robyn show at Highline Ballroom in NYC, and for one four days later at the Troubadour in LA. It's been over two years since the Swedish pop star first developed her indie-cred, and currently she's bigger than ever - the song "With Every Heartbeat" recently hit #1 in the UK.
I'm excited. Unlike Annie, whose live show ended up being kind of a dud compared to her studio work, Robyn is constantly touring and playing out. Just watch this and this.

Check out Robyn’s fresh new rhymes during her upcoming US tour dates in support of her new Rakamonie EP, to be released digitally on January 29th, 2008. The UK has already showed their love for Robyn and the EP, as her track “With Every Heartbeat” reached #1 in the charts there. It’s a treat she’s coming over for these February
concerts as it’s been a couple of years since she’s been in America. Robyn’s full-length album is tentatively scheduled to drop in April, more details to come!

When I read on Wikipedia that "Robyn" was popular in the 90's for "Show Me Love", I thought at first they had had it wrong.

Good news - I've gotten to like Robyn. Somebody somewhere pointed out that in "With Every Heartbeat," she's starting sound like Kate Bush. Strange but true. (She's all grown up now.)
