The Rosebuds played some shows -- cover "Push It"
DOWNLOAD: The Rosebuds - Push It (Salt n Pepa) (MP3) (via Pitchfork)
The Rosebuds @ Maxwell's, NJ - Jan 19, 2008 (Music Snobbery)

The Rosebuds played some shows in Washington DC, Brooklyn, and NJ last week. I didn't go to any even though I wanted to. How were they? Someone got engaged at the one in DC, and although they just released a video and mp3 of "Push it", MS says they didn't play it at Maxwell's.

It's Pepa, not Peppa...but thanks for the mp3!

The Brooklyn and Hoboken shows were amazing. Hoboken was especially good - they played "Bug Heartbreak" and did an unexpected encore that included "Waiting for the Carnival." "El Camino" with the sax in Brooklyn was a highlight too.

I obviously meant "Big Heartbreak." Not "Bug." :)
