In following the Natalie Merchant thread/links, I would think with the diversity of music posted to this blog, from Big Brother and the Holding Company to the Kinks to a Heavy Metal Cover band to bands from Europe nobody has ever heard of (and even more diversity from Kayne West, Dolly Parton, NY Dolls, Van Halen, REM, Sharon Jones), I don't see how/why Natalie Merchant got chosen to be the one who doesn't fit into this blog?!?! But someone had to I guess, funny. Remember before there was a Broken Social Scene and a Feist, there was a 10,000 Maniacs and a Natalie Merchant.
