What's going on Wednesday? (Cool Kids Museum contest)
DOWNLOAD: Cool Kids ++ Klever - COOL KIDS (KLEVER'S RIDE BIG RMXXX ) (MP3)

* United Tradeshow
* Jack Penate is at Union Pool
* The Von Bondies are at Gramercy Theater
* Karl Blau & others are playing Glasslands
* Super Furry Animals & Holy F*ck play Maxwell's
* Music critic Carl Wilson is talking about Celine Dion again
* Coltrane Motion return to NYC, play The Annex with other bands
* Then The Cool Kids guest DJ with other DJs at The Annex
The Cool Kids are in town. They "DJ" the Annex tonight - after an earlier show by Chicago's Coltrane Motion at the same venue. Then Cool Kids actually play tomorrow at Studio B, and more excitingly: at the Museum of Natural History on Friday night - with A-Trak and Kid Sister. Even better: I have a pair of tickets to give away to the museum show, courtesy of FADER & Flavorpill, to a lucky winner who emails BVCONTESTS@HOTMAIL.COM (subject: cool kids). Include your first and last name. One winner will be chosen randomly tomorrow and contacted.
VICE Magazine wrote about Kokie's....What else?

MGMT cd release show/party at mercury lounge

I'm putting on a show at Cake Shop, featuring Slasher Risk, Nonhorse (Lucas of Vanishing Voice/Time Life), Slaughterhouse Percussion (members of X.O.4), and Towering Heroic Dudes. Starts at 8. So if anyone wants something cacophonous, hint hint.
