Just to see what would happen, I tried posting a comment last night while the notice was up that commenting was offline, and I got an error message saying that my comment failed to go through because I wasn't logged in (or something). I thought BV was going to require registration of commenters and, presumably, cancel the privileges of those who offend! Boy, am I glad that's not the case, 'cuz I want to continue to post stupidity.
