Constantines

Toronto, ON - The Constantines have been forced to cancel postpone their upcoming Monday, March 3rd performance in New York at the Mercury Lounge due to guitarist Steve Lambke breaking a bone in his right hand. The injury occurred when Lambke slipped on some icy steps in Montreal, Quebec this past week. While the injury is not serious, doctors recommended Lambke rest the hand for the coming weeks. The sold-out date has been rescheduled for Wednesday, April 16th, and all tickets will be honored. The show will now kick off the first leg of the bands North American tour in support of their fourth full-length, Kensington Heights, in stores April 15th in Canada, April 29th in the U.S. Despite the injury The Constantines will continue with their trip down to Austin, TX March 12th-15th for the annual SXSW Music Conference where the band is schedule for three performances (below)

Maybe Cons will have a little bit long set now? They were scheduled as an "Early Show" with what looked to be about a 50 minute set...
