Dave Hill's Love Report, Gibby Haynes, Butthole Surfers

Gibby Haynes"The Paul Green School of Rock All Stars featuring Gibby Haynes performing the music of The Butthole Surfers". That's the description of the show at Highline Ballroom in NYC Sunday night. Children of the Unicorn is opening that show. Comedian Dave Hill plays in the band Children of the Unicorn, and Dave Hill created the below video to help you not "spend another Valentine's Day alone in your bathroom crying into a sponge".....

You will never see Gibby playing agin with Paul or any of the other guys and you can take that straight from Mr. Gibson Haynes mouth. I ran into him backstage at a show a year and a half ago and asked him if Butthole Surfers were going to record or play again. He said they were about to head into the studio to record. Then i saw him at the Apollo Spiritulized show and asked him how was the recording going. He said it didn't work out and it was over for good.

I felt very sad that day. Butthole Surfers were an amazing band and put on some of the best shows i have ever seen. A lot better than all the Yeasayers, Dan Deacons, and Man Man's put together.

Dave Hill is funny but he needs to mix it up a bit with this fucking band. Every song is a poor Judas Priest/Poison/Ratt wannabe
