guys can I make an observation? Their Bowery gig is not sold out, not only that, it's 15 bucks per ticket this is 12, with service charge probably close to 15. However, Yeasayers and Man Man on the same bill? that is fucking fantastic.

Band of Horses should be opening for Dirty on Purpose, not the other way around.

Man Man killed Modest Mouse last year, at least at the show I went to.
Posted by Anonymous | February 20, 2008 12:01 PM

Posted by Anonymous | February 20, 2008 12:12 PM

Posted by Anonymous | February 20, 2008 12:12 PM

Good to see Yeasayer hasn't been added to Coachella...
Posted by Anonymous | February 20, 2008 12:16 PM
who is going to open for the bowery show?
Posted by Anonymous | February 20, 2008 12:22 PM
Steaming. Shit. Sandwich.

I am surprised that Bowery Presents are allowing them to play another area show.
I don't care for Yeasayer, which is good since I prefer the Bowery Ballroom over the Masonic Temple. Maybe now I can find someone offloading cheap tickets.

I prefer Masonic Temple over half finished construction sites or loft "apartments". But that's just me.
Posted by Anonymous | February 20, 2008 1:58 PM
it sucks that they can't play La because of coachella.
Posted by Mandy | February 20, 2008 5:36 PM
How big is the Masonic Temple? Is this probably going to sell out?

DEATH TO FALSE INDIE ROCK!
Posted by Anonymous | February 21, 2008 12:59 PM
for real...how long will it be until the major labels plant the hipster version of nickelback in brooklyn CIA style, and facilitate them in rising through the local scene, with the assistance of major label resources, creating a false sense of indie cred, fan base, etc., and then sell it to the rest of the country (i'm looking at YOU midwest and south) as the second-coming of *insert crappy manufactured band that best symbolizes the last white music trend here* ??
maybe it's already begun...
...and if it hasn't, major label marketing execs, i have tons of other super ideas and am available and willing to spearhead you next marketing initiative...resume available on request
