PEASANT - new album out now, Tour Dates, TONIGHT

Music Slut: Many have likened your sound to Elliott Smith, Nick Drake & Jose Gonzalez amongst others. Do you find those to be fair comparisons?"This record" is called "On The Ground" and it's out now on Paper Garden Records. Frederick Foxtrott gave it a 7/9.Peasant: I do, but those artists have all had a few albums out. If you listen to this record, yeah it's pretty similar to some of the stuff they put out, but I think you'll be surprised by some of the other music I'm working on/have made in the past.
Peasant goes on at 7:30 pm @ Pianos tonight - perfect music for unwinding with your free Newcastle before seven great comedians take the stage. More tour dates below....

If you dig this, it was produced by a great Philly band called The Cobbs - they toured with Black Rebel Motorcycle Club and are TOO LEGIT TOO QUIT!

re-read that. i think he meant few as in "a few more than me" or "a number more than me"
