
Bao Nguyen checked out Thao Nguyen (no relation) at her show "with The Get Down Stay Down" at Knitting Factory in NYC last night (Feb 4, 2008). I didn't talk to him for long, but he said the show was good. Thao reminds him (and many others) of Cat Power, and Thao even told a story at the show about running into Cat Power (Chan) at a radio appearance earlier that day. More of his photos below....

The Smiths of Vietnam are a really good band. Vietnamese Morrissey is not as big of a jerk as the English one.
