I wish this was the All Points West Line Up if Radiohead were also on this!

One more reason for me to hate the APW line-up!

Posted by Anonymous | February 26, 2008 10:45 AM

ok read that- $55 per night. Why Radiohead, why did you get in bed with that devil?

Posted by Anonymous | February 26, 2008 10:48 AM

that's a pretty kick-ass lineup (except for Modest Mouse and Tegan & Sara... blah!)

Posted by rocked the shit | February 26, 2008 10:49 AM

I live in Philly, Radiohead is my favorite band, and I am absolutely disgusted by the APW lineup. This is how a festival should look!

I feel like I'm paying lots to see Radiohead with a couple good opening acts. I was sooo excited about an East Coast festival and now feel completely deflated!

How do Washington State, Tennessee, and a desert get killer bands to show up while NEW YORK CITY gives us crumbs! Ughhhhh!!!!!!!

Posted by Anonymous | February 26, 2008 10:49 AM

apw haters...are you kidding? two nights of radiohead, plus whatever other shows theyre going to do in the neighborhood...festivals are more fun to travel to anyways...lighten up, u live in one of the most amazing cities in the world in terms of the music talent that flows in and out...i wouldnt worry about it...nor would i take some other festival post as an opportunity to knock apw.

Posted by Anonymous | February 26, 2008 10:50 AM

Eddie Vedder?

Posted by Anonymous | February 26, 2008 10:50 AM

lastly - the apw lineup is pretty damn good...

Posted by Anonymous | February 26, 2008 10:51 AM

WTF, no Jack Johnson? What a ripoff!

Posted by Anonymous | February 26, 2008 10:53 AM

Prediction: Roger Waters playing Dark Side out in the desert will be the highlight of the festival season (Radiohead gets a close second...take your pick, really).

I know that's totally not a "hip" call, but I can't think of anything else that holds a candle to that.

Posted by Drugs Delaney | February 26, 2008 10:59 AM

more important... What time does Daft Punk go on?

Posted by diggins | February 26, 2008 11:00 AM

Last year's Sasquatch festival was a lot of fun. If you have the means, the VIP tickets were VERY worth the price.

"lastly - the apw lineup is pretty damn good..."

Compared with Lolla, ACL, Bonnaroo, Coach and Sasquatch....APW is a joke! Besides 2 amazing nights of Radiohead, this "festival" is garbage.

Posted by Anonymous | February 26, 2008 11:07 AM

Yeah, APW is pretty weak. Radiohead sucks and isn't even any fun. Everyone can just sit there as the night winds down and think about killing themselves. And Jack Johnson is headlining a bunch of festivals this year but he really shouldn't be headlining anything. I mean he is good and all, but again, doesn't bring anything to make the live experience all that great. I would just as soon sit in my yard and listen to his CD.

None of these bands are headliners...I guess the good part is that you can pick your day and leave early avoiding the Radiohead concert.

If the Gorge wasn't so far and if I was rich, this would be my #1 festival. APW line up sucks, but hey, it's Radiohead. I really hope the Flaming Lips come to the east coast for a festival or two..

Any chance Lollapalooza line-up will be announced prior to this weekend when this all points west goes on sale?

Also to the person who thinks Roger Waters will be best thing this summer, no fucking way, saw that stuff at MSG 2 years ago, and it was one of the worst concerts of the year.

Posted by Anonymous | February 26, 2008 11:22 AM

"Compared with Lolla, ACL, Bonnaroo, Coach and Sasquatch....APW is a joke!"

You know something about the non-announced Lolla and ACL line-ups already? Plz share.

I don't care either way, but APW is in its first year and it managed to get Radiohead for 2 nights in a row. How many music festivals do you know of that can pull that off?

Posted by Anonymous | February 26, 2008 11:34 AM

I think APW is adding Nas to the festival. I heard he has a new CD coming out soon, anyone know what it's called?

Posted by Anonymous | February 26, 2008 11:36 AM

here is a $100 question. Any danger of this APW selling out on first day (or before Lolla is announced?) I dont want to miss Radiohead. However if Lolla gets Radiohead as well, I might skip APW and go to Lolla instead. As you can see, a conundrum

Posted by Anonymous | February 26, 2008 11:40 AM

this is SO much better than APW. if i lived in portland i'd be all about this just to see malkmus, built to spill, crudo, okkervil river, and the cure

Posted by hipster poseur | February 26, 2008 11:51 AM

APW will sell out, but since it is a festival, you can find face value tickets anytime afterwards. With 30K tickets in circulation, someone always can't go. People that need to fly in always sell their tickets for below face value.

My only worry is that APW will sell very few 1-day tickets. With the lackluster Sunday lineup, they will be pushing the 3-day pass.

Posted by Anonymous | February 26, 2008 12:14 PM

yeah thats my plan too, get a fri and sat tickets only.

Posted by Anonymous | February 26, 2008 12:51 PM

the little ones? seriously? ozomatli?

Posted by Anonymous | February 26, 2008 12:57 PM

I don't feel like reading. Can anyone tell me if Beth-Ditto is on the bill?

Posted by Anonymous | February 26, 2008 1:10 PM

for a second I thought Pig Destroyer was on there.

Posted by Anonymous | February 26, 2008 1:22 PM

yes, beth ditto is on the bill. apparently she's eaten michael stipe, and is now heading up his band.

Posted by Anonymous | February 26, 2008 1:44 PM

anon 12:57...

Last year at Sasquatch, Ozomatli played at like noon on day one. I'm pretty sure that most attendees of Sasquatch aren't going just to see Ozomatli, but the promoters still need to fill out the bill.

Incidentally, I caught Ozomatli's set and I thought they were a lot of fun.

We're the Unicorns and we're people too!!!

Lolla gets announced right before Coachella.

way to call it. :) just got an email on the APW list with a "unique" password for a pre-sale starting tomorrow for 3-day passes and carpool passes only... email copied below (except for the password, which is apparently only good for the email recipient):

"Pre-Sale starts Wednesday at Noon!

This is your special opportunity to buy passes to the All Points West festival before they go on sale to the general public!

From 12 noon until 5:00PM (EST) on Wednesday, February 27, you will be able to use your unique password to purchase three-day passes only to the festival, and three-day carpool passes.

These tickets and passes are limited, so don't wait!

Three-day passes are available for $258 plus $30 parking per day (there is a limit of TWO 3-day passes).

Three-day carpool packages, which consist of 4 tickets and 1 parking pass, are available for $1,122. Limit of one carpool package per person during presale."

"How do Washington State, Tennessee, and a desert get killer bands to show up while NEW YORK CITY gives us crumbs! Ughhhhh!!!!!!!"

maybe because bands would rather play to fans that are excited about seeing a band versus standing there with their arms crossed?

maybe because NYC is a giant overpriced shitball?

who knows.

Posted by Cradge Mackerfraller | February 27, 2008 12:21 AM

They don't have to set foot in NYC to play APW. They could stay in Jersey.

Oh, wait.

As it is known the house of blues every year presents Sasquatch Music Festival. And this year it will take place on the month of May. This annual festival is a real occasion for Rock music lovers to watch their favourite singers and bands. This festival as it provides great entertainment, it is one of the most attended festivals. Thus, it becomes so difficult to get tickets and prices become so high. As I’m planning to attend, a friend has recommended me a site where to compare tickets prices for free before booking.
I’ll look for the lowest prices, and I hope I will have enough time to attend because I don’t want to miss the Festival.
