Can someone buy a ticket for me?
I don't go to NYU.
Posted by Alex | February 21, 2008 5:48 PM
How does the public buy tickets?
Posted by blah | February 21, 2008 5:51 PM
Tickets are available for the general public the day of the show.

Ohhh dear! He's so edgy!

@5:51 - Since this will likely sell out, id suggest teaming up with Alex 5:48 to find some NYU students to help yas out.
Heres the official policy for the NYU Kimmel Center for University Life:
* There is a limit of 2 advance tickets per event for NYUCard-holders. If you need more than 2 tickets to a particular event, you may purchase them at Ticket Central on the day of the event, subject to availability.
* There are 2 kinds of tickets for Kimmel Center events—NYU ID and Guest tickets. All guests of the university MUST have a Guest ticket and government issued photo ID to enter the performance venue.
* If you don’t have an NYUCard, you may purchase tickets to Kimmel Center events on the day of the event, subject to availability, with a government issued photo ID.

Why is the National supporting a neighborhood-destroying force that is NYU?
Posted by Anonymous | February 22, 2008 10:21 AM
the national blows."boxer" was one of the most overrated albums of last year. the singer is as boring as watching paint dry
Posted by hipster poseur | February 22, 2008 10:32 AM

Posted by Anonymous | February 22, 2008 11:10 AM

Posted by edwyn the bear | February 22, 2008 12:24 PM

Posted by Michael Ways | February 22, 2008 12:31 PM
I go to NYU (and hate myself for it) and I'll buy someone a ticket, if you want.
Posted by Mindy | February 22, 2008 12:52 PM
mindy will you buy me a ticket please?
Posted by BQ | February 22, 2008 1:09 PM
I would also like to take mindy up on her offer to score with a NYU indie-rock chick with low self-esteem.
Posted by Anonymous | February 22, 2008 1:18 PM
Good job, BQ, you didn't leave any info for Mindy on how to contact you. Of course, other BV readers may then contact you pretending to be Mindy. How will you know which one is the real Mindy?
Posted by Myndi Lauper | February 22, 2008 1:34 PM
Any ladies need an extra ticket?
No charge from. Post here and let me know.
Posted by Donald | February 22, 2008 1:53 PM
if the national are too boring you can always listen to fall out boy
Posted by James Snuka | February 22, 2008 2:01 PM
Warning, ladies. The Creepy Jockstrap Police say Donald 1:53 is one creepy jockstrap. Taking him up on that offer will undoubtedly lead to you being forced to creepily handle his jockstrap. Consider yourself forewarned.

does anyone know when tickets for the national at jones beach go on sale? i rather see a show in the city but it's still tba.
Posted by Anonymous | February 22, 2008 5:40 PM
Hey There! I take offense to that.
Okay, I am a creep. I'll say that. But I'm not creepy. And I'm most certainly not a jockstrap.
I'm a williamsburg-wannabe. and im lonely. and i just want some company to see a band that i really like. with someone else who likes them.
i promise, no funny stuff.
Posted by Donald | February 22, 2008 6:03 PM
Ugh, Donald. I thinks it would be better for all if you just go to the show w/ jumpin' john and snuff yourself out. Pleeeease?
Posted by Beeeeve | February 22, 2008 7:13 PM
donald I was wondering of you had anything I could slip into a drink? You would be compensated, naturally.
Posted by Anonymous | February 23, 2008 6:04 AM
i heard that every nyu student has killed a a defenseless child. i also heard that nyu students are required to go out of their way to annoy hipsters. and that their poop smells a lot worse than everyone else's.
