Smoosh is a joke. A not funny one at that.

Smoosh are adorable, and the music isn't terrible either. It's a total gimmick, but I'd much rather see them than TPC. When will TPC die?

They will die when/if their second album sucks.

Tokyo Police Club is awful! So is Vampire Weekend, heard them for the first time yesterday. There is so much shitty "indie" music out there.

TPC have catchy songs, though their whole sound is a little shallow. The same can be said for Vampire Weekend.

Smoosh is awesome. If you can't enjoy some kids absolutely rocking out, you must hate music and you probably hate life too and just haven't realized it.
I'm disappointed they're not opening here, that would have definitely tipped it in favor of going.

TPC will be alive as long as there are people that need to fill the void left by Interpol in between tours.

I don't really think TPC suck. I don't see why people feel the need to say how much bands suck or how much they're praised. Its just music. Accept it for what it is, and enjoy it.

These message boards always turn into whiney rants from people who have nothing better to do than point out trivial personal disinterest. If you don't like the bands why waste time to tell everyone. Your opinions mean so little, you self-important hipsters.

Smoosh rocked out like real pros on the 21st. The show was amazing only because of Smoosh. The Meligrove band turned out to suck, except for some catchy riffs and beats, and Tokyo Police Club totally destroyed the show with their crappy music. The lights also weren't that fun to stand near. It's more like they wanted people to go blind rather than deaf (from their poor music).

Smoosh is no joke nor are they a gimmick. They would have to be faking it to be a gimmick, and for what purpose? I doubt that anyone is raking in the big bucks off of them, nor are they. I'm really surprised that they can be as good as they are at their age. Their drummer is better at 14 than some drummers will get in their whole life.

Smoosh are good but Asy isn't amazing at singing. i actually preferred her voice circa 2006-2007
