It's this Wednesday in Austin. no RSVP necessary, and it's practically right next door from my official showcase that starts just a few hours later.

Sean Carlson and Transmission are also the people behind the huge Saturday Mess With Texas party, and for that they're offering a contest......

Mess With Texas 2 Contest. Everybody loves road trips.... So we have put together a contest for ya'll.

We giving one lucky winner $200 cash + two nights stay at an Austin hotel to come out to Mess With Texas 2 on Saturday, March 15th. And you will also get a whole bunch of other swag.

Here is the deal....
Send us an email to messwithtexasparty@gmail.com and tell us why you want to go. It can be anywhere from one sentence to three paragraphs. Also please include where you heard about this contest, your location and your favorite band playing MWT2.

Grand Prize will include:

For those of you who live in Texas, this blog is called BROOKLYNvegan. You don't have to live in NYC to read it, but you shouldn't cry about them not listing enough TX events.
