club Midway is now REHAB (formerly Save The Robots, etc)

Man, this venue has no luck keeping a name for very long. Midway (formerly Scenic, Guernica, Save The Robots, etc) is now called Rehab. It's where The LK is NOT playing tonight (March 25)

at this point, i'll be happy if they just tore it down and converted it into a ten story condo...or an nyu dorm.

I wonder if they found part of my youth that I left behind in Save the Robots when they were cleaning up.

I was there last week and I'll say this: if they keep the DJ area exposed the way it is now (they took out the kitchen wall and put the turntables RIGHT there), they're gonna spend a fortune on upkeep -- WAY too easy to dump a drink (or a drunken) thug into it.
