This is one band you definitely need to see. They consistently play entertaining, emotional shows. Their emo's show at sxsw was outstanding.

I second that. Port O'Brien will blow your mind. You really shouldn't miss them.

The Delta Spirit is great - I'd never heard of them when they opened for the Cold War Kids(?) last year, and they blew me away.

Delta Spirit were fucking great as usual. Unsure of the name of the songwriter/singer, but he's writing some of the most thoughtful, intelligent lyrics going today. He's got one hell of a voice too!
Port O'Brien stopped far short of blowing my mind. They wear their Neil Young/Crazyhorse influence quite proudly on their checkered flannel shirts. They're certainly good, but really nothing new or exciting here.

i thought delta was okay.. but the lyrics are so obvious.. port o'brien blew my mind though.. so much energy and beautiful songs!

Delta Spirit a band of young mates brought energy and passion to the stage last night at Pianos, leaving there shy and soft spoken selves at the door. Starting with some foot stomping songs and then going into some Neil Young, Dylan reminiscent songs in the middle and ending with an anthem. The boys no there instuments and that's a good thing because they switch them often. Overall a great show by all bands
