The first and last time I saw Irish post-rock band God is an Astronaut was at my own (and others’) SXSW Wednesday day party at Red 7 last week. A highlight of the day for sure, their big sound should have no problem filling the tiny Knitting Factory tap bar which is where they’ll finish their U.S. tour in NYC tonight (March 21).
