WHAT EVER

can somebody please tell me what the fucking deal is with these harry potter books?? why the fuck does anybody over the age of 9 want to read a book about a boy wizard and all his child friends? actually, those books are like 800 pages, so why would a 9 year old want to read them either?

bottom line, what is the attraction? why do people care? what is the obsession? why is it that these books are a phenomenon and not some other, slightly more adult/intelligent series? is this more of the hype machine gone crazy or what??

um, how about you try READING the book and finding out for yourself? i think that's what everyone else did.

the books are excellent pieces of literature, that's why.

theres a movie coming out about the whole "wizard rock" phenomenon...most of these bands are in it, i think.

anon 4:06, i was in your same seat about a year ago. then i read book 5-7 and i felt like a moron for doubting the integrity of these books.

READ HARRY POTTER IF YOU CONSIDER YOURSELF HUMAN, SERIOUSLY.
