Jim Gaffigan - 2008 "sexy" Tour Dates

Comedian Jim Gaffigan is going on tour. A really big tour at really big venues. Entitled The Sexy Tour, he’ll be at Town Hall in NYC on November 28th and 29th. I’ve seen Jim many times, but never at one of these huge venue shows. It’s always been an unannounced drop-in at one of NYCs smaller, cheaper venues like Rififi – one of the benefits of living in NYC I reckon. Jim’s style is quiet, clean, low key and extraodrinarily funny. The trademark of a Gaffigan performance is this quiet, somewhat feminine sounding voice he does after his jokes which is meant to be an imaginary audience member commenting on his act. As weird as that may sound, it adds a bonus hilarity dynamic to his shows. You never know when he’s going to drop into the smaller venues though, so if you’ve got the scratch I strongly recommend seeing him at these large venue gigs…..
