Journey is nothing without Steve Perry!

Heart was still way hot back then... funny how you can find about 100 girls along Bedford Avenue desperately trying to mimic their hairstyle on the album cover.

It's probably pretty easy to make fun of this for some, but all three bands have hooks out the yin-yang. I'm there.

"new lead singer Arnel Pineda"

i'm with #2 - steve perry or bust!

Posted by anon | March 26, 2008 1:50 PM

Why, oh why, does Cheap Trick stoop to this? They are (still) so many light years better than their tourmates, yet somehow they get the opening slot.
Someone make them feel loved!

^---- Co-sign to tab. CT is the realest that ever did it, loads of indie bands (real and faux) owe a lot to them.

look at what some of these guys are saying! Journey, Heart and Cheap Trick are still awesome!!! what does it tells you, if you got a unique talent, you will last. Imagine of all these years they can still ROCK!!! the whole crowd. I was there with my husband and daughter in Raleigh,NC. Who cares if Steve Perry was no longer in Journey,he wants to do his own thing so be it.I admire the whole band, not only Steve Perry and I think Arnel Pineda(he got a name you know not just a filipino guy) sounds Like Steve Perry when he was young back in the days, sounds better too. Journey's new album Revelation sounds great. I know coz I got a copy.

All I want to say to the fools above that have downed Journey & Heart and said that Cheap Trick should have been the "headliners"----those people are CRAZY!! This concert was WONDERFUL!!! Journey and Heart were absolutely AMAZING!!! And for any of those fools talkin about Cheap Trick--if you go see them now, you'd be ashamed!! They weren't that good, in comparison to the BETTER parts of the concert!! Also Arnel Pineda was OUTSTANDING as the new lead singer---he really does sound just like Steve Perry!! Don't judge the bands until you've seen ALL 3 in person....then you can judge!!

We got a refund. Worst. Concert. EVER. Did not help at all that Heart canceled last minute. Note to self: Do not go see concerts for has beens who sell their t-shirts (not even jerseys!) for more than the concert tickets.

Hey Jayne you lame fu##tard b!tch, dont tell me how to spend my money because i went to a great concert, i'm glad you didnt go because I would have smelled your rotting beefjerkylike vagina seats away sitting there pouting ! There is no more Steve Perry do you get the fu#king picture, or is your old ass brain starting to see dementia.

Posted by StevePerryRoxU | September 23, 2008 8:38 PM

i went to that concert in nj and they didn't have any concert posters for sale!!! I was so pissed since I get one at every concert. Anyone know where I could get one?

Posted by rachel | October 22, 2008 6:39 PM

Steve Perry was and still is the voice of Journey. That band would be nothing if it wasn't for him. I am very disapointed in the new guy.

Posted by Liv | April 29, 2009 12:11 AM

Steve Perry fans. Just listen to your Steve Perry CDs. You will never sing him sing live ever again. He stop singing when he was younger, there is no reason why he would want to sing again now he is old. That Steve Perry got burnt with singing and touring or maybe he is just lazy. He doesn't care for you. If he does he would not have made you wait for years. To those who say he is planning another CD. Ha! Where is it? It is just rumors. Well you are content with rumors. Loosers!

Journey is still alive with their music and that's the fact. They me getting old but at least they are still trying hard to entertain. That is what matters.
