Kazu Makino, Natasha Khan, Earl Greyhound & other models

Members of Bat For Lashes, Earl Greyhound, Blonde Redhead and others modeled for today's NY Times. None of the pictures come even close to the ones Paper just published of Joanna Newsom though.
Check out the video of Kazu (Blonde Redhead) performing with Paul Banks & Samuel Fogarino of Interpol, below...

I once interviewed Kazu as a music writer for the Pittsburgh City Paper 'back in the 90's'. We spent almost 2 hours talking on the phone with her at her home in Brooklyn. Needless to say, I moved to NYC less than a year later.

I am in love with Kazu Makino. Watching her dance around in those short skirts is always hypnotic.

Commoditized sexuality is boring.

10:49, I *did* have her home phone number -- but it was more the inspiration she provided, methinks.
