I love Kimya. It always feels less special when the rest of the world catches on to something that you felt had been your little secret, especially when the mainstream will only love her until the next big thing comes around. Kinda the same way I felt after being obsessed with that Bleach album and then going into school the next year and seeing the pep squad lip syncing to smells like teen spirit. But I'm still happy for her and for her new fans that will now have something a little more substantial than American Idol to listen to. Now Jeffry Lewis aping Kimya in his pseudo-autistic nasal monotone, that sucks.

After putting out a bunch of my own albums, i'd be a little annoyed if someone asked me to sign the soundtrack where a bunch of my songs were placed.

I mean, it's nothing against this girl up there in the pic, and I'm sure Kimya should still be honored, but I could see how it might be a little annoying.

That movie was a big bag of piss. Thanks to all the mindless numbskulls who thought it was brilliant, that no talent theif/hack of a screenwriter is rich and will have a future career that will ultimately fail once people find out she is full of it.

Think about it, why the hell would a college graduate decide to go strip in the middle of nowhere and then oh so conveniently write her "memoirs" of being a stripper and make money off it? Its an act. She only stripped so she could have something in her otherwise boring life to write about.

But by all means go ahead, keep buying into these crap movies and crap has-been acts like Kimya. Give them more money so they can live easily and you can't.
